Will we be required to do any Fund Raising events to offset our registration fee?

No. We do not require our members to participate in fund raising campaigns in order to subsidize the cost of their registration fees.

Our family does not have a Home Church or attend Church regularly, are we still able to register in the league?

Absolutely! Our league is open to any participants who love hockey and regular church attendance is not a pre-requisite. We are a Christian Faith Based Organization and our values and teachings come from the Bible. What sets up apart from other Hockey Leagues is 10 minutes before the start of each game our BCHL PowerPlay (a short Bible based devotional) is delivered by the Coach or another Adult to players in the dressing room, followed by a prayer. We focus on teaching Integrity, Character and Excellence (I.C.E.) through the greatest game on earth, Hockey.

Are Jerseys provided?

Yes, in our Timbit and Novice Divisions, our sponsor is Tim Horton's. Each year they provide new Jerseys and socks for each player to keep.
In our Atom and Peewee Divisions our sponsor is Mcdonald's and they provide new jerseys and socks for each player to keep.
In Bantam and Midget / Juvi Divisions, a hockey jersey is provided on loan and must be returned at the end of the season. This helps us to keep costs down as you are not paying for a new jersey every season.
